Cowan Heights Elementary is located in Cowan Heights in historic St. John's, Newfoundland .We are administered by the Eastern School District. Our school colors are blue and gold. We have a school mascot, "Cool", a cougar who is very active in our school! We are proud to announce that we have achieved "Platinum Award" level from Physical and Health Education Canada for the quality of our physical education program! The banner was presented in January 2011 and is proudly displayed in our gym.
